David Shifley has over 25 years of experience in software development and architecture, primarily focused on cloud based and open source technologies. As Head of Technology, David is responsible for the technology strategy and development of our core products.
Prior to joining CloudAge, David served in several executive and technical architect roles at Excel Telecommunications, Impact Telecom, Magna5, and most recently at RouteTrust. In these roles, he was instrumental in designing and building cloud-based systems to process billions of records per month in near real-time. He has also been involved in several startups in the Austin, Texas area ranging from fantasy soccer to online gift cards.
David received a Bachelors in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. He is an avid dog lover and sports enthusiast, playing basketball and soccer on a regular basis.
